Alison Davis, Christian Mental Health Counselor

Meet Alison

My professional counseling career began at The Turning Point Rape Crisis Center where I gained extensive training and a love for working with adult survivors of complex trauma/abuse, childhood sexual abuse, and sexual violence. This included addressing interpersonal relationship and attachment struggles, dissociation, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Following my time at The Turning Point, I began seeing clients in a private practice setting until founding Entrust Therapy and Counseling in 2024.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I served for 15 years in a variety of lay counseling, coaching, and discipleship roles in both the local Church, and secular organizations.

I’m passionate about the intersection of biblical theology and the neurobiology of trauma and suffering. Leading to our biblical counseling services. I feel called to be a safe space and equip fellow believers to be a safe space for survivors of trauma to heal and flourish in the context of relational community.

Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids. My love languages are coffee, chips & guacamole, and brunch. You’ll often find me working out, cheering on my favorite sports team, or traveling with my people!

It’s my greatest honor when a client entrusts their story of suffering to me and allows me to participate in a healing chapter of their story. Please reach out today!
